Emma and Jeff’s beachside wedding at Dunes Pavilion was the perfect mix of romance, elegance, and laid-back celebration. With a 12-person bridal party, a stunning lakeside backdrop, and a reception filled with laughter and love, their day couldn’t have been more perfect.
The morning began with Emma’s dress hanging beautifully, while I captured all the important details—her shoes, veil, bouquet, wedding bands, and perfume. Meanwhile, Jeff and his groomsmen were already having a great time, sipping whiskey from their personalized tumblers and getting some classic groom’s party photos.
Emma slipped into her gown at 1:15 PM, taking a moment to wear her wedding bands early for their private portraits. She looked absolutely radiant as she put on the finishing touches—her veil, shoes, and a spritz of perfume—before stepping outside for individual bridal portraits.
With the stunning Indiana Dunes as their backdrop, Emma and Jeff shared an emotional first look at 2:15 PM. The moment was pure magic as they soaked in the excitement of the day together. From there, we jumped into bridal party photos, capturing fun, candid group shots (one of their biggest must-haves!). Their immediate family joined in at 3:30 PM, and then, it was time for a well-deserved champagne break!
One of the most heartfelt moments? Their private vows at 4:45 PM. Just the two of them, standing together, exchanging promises before their official ceremony.
At 5:00 PM, their sunset ceremony began, with Jeff looking extra sharp, showing off his military mesh suit and cufflinks. The waves, the golden sand, and the soft evening light made for an unforgettable setting as they became husband and wife.
During cocktail hour, we captured all the must-have group shots with friends, making sure no one was left out. Then, as the sun dipped lower, we snuck away for golden hour portraits on the beach—easily some of the most stunning photos of the day.
The reception kicked off at 6:40 PM with a grand entrance, followed by the cake cutting and heartfelt speeches. Guests enjoyed dinner and a beautiful dessert table before the newlyweds took the dance floor for their first dance at 8:00 PM.
Emma and Jeff’s wedding was an amazing mix of classic elegance, personal touches, and beachside fun. Their love for each other, their friends, and their families was felt in every moment, and I’m so grateful to have captured this unforgettable day!
