Adrienna and Jacob’s wedding at FernHill Golf Club was the perfect blend of timeless elegance and heartfelt celebration. With a 12-person bridal party, a golden hour ceremony, and a night filled with love and laughter, every moment was beautifully unforgettable.
Getting Ready
The day started with Jacob and his groomsmen as I arrived at 2:15 PM to capture all the classic groom details—his tie, cufflinks, boutonnière, cologne, and watch. After styling the flat lay, we moved into photos of his jacket, getting ready moments, and individual portraits before some celebratory shots with the guys.
By 3:40 PM, it was time to meet Adrienna and her bridesmaids in the bridal suite. The energy was buzzing with excitement as the girls sipped on mimosas, making for the perfect candid moments. Adrienna’s dress hung beautifully on a custom hanger, waiting for its grand reveal. Her flat lay included all the sentimental touches—her veil, shoes, jewelry, vow books, and the ‘something borrowed, something blue’ details.
When it was time to step into her gown, the room filled with emotion. From zipping up the dress to fastening her jewelry and veil, every moment was carefully captured before she took a few minutes for individual bridal portraits.
The Ceremony
With the sunset set for 6:55 PM, the 5:30 PM ceremony was bathed in soft golden light. Guests took their seats while I captured ceremony details and candids of loved ones arriving. As Adrienna walked down the aisle, all eyes were on her—and Jacob’s reaction was everything.
Their vows were heartfelt and intimate, leading up to that long-awaited first kiss as husband and wife!
Portraits & Golden Hour Magic
After the ceremony, we moved straight into family portraits, wrapping them up in 20 minutes so we could spend the remainder of the golden hour on bridal party and bride & groom portraits. The golf course provided the perfect backdrop, with the autumn sun casting the most romantic glow over the newlyweds.
The Celebration Begins!
By 7:00 PM, the grand entrances kicked off the reception, bringing the energy back up for a night of celebration. After a mad photo dash around the venue to capture every detail, we moved into the cake cutting, heartfelt speeches, and dinner.
As the night unfolded, the dance floor saw emotional moments like the mother-son and mother-daughter dances, leading up to Adrienna and Jacob’s first dance at 8:55 PM. The anniversary dance honored the longest-married couples in the room before the floor officially opened up for a night of celebration!
Some of the best moments? The bouquet toss at 10:00 PM, the always-entertaining shoe game at 10:05 PM, and the nonstop dancing that kept the energy alive.
